Love Handmade Markets Margate Beach Celebrating made in Brisbane with curated stalls, live music and food by the Margate seaside For lovers of fine handmade goods and the sea since 2013
Love Handmade Markets Redcliffe started in 2013 as a local, indie-craft market at the Woody Point Memorial Hall and won runner-up craft market in the Australian Craft Awards in that same year! The market is a curation of handmade wares supported by shoppers seeking locally made products. The market continues with its fresh and clear vision to bring craft workshops, live music, fine food and exquisite makers together by the seaside under strong creative direction. By supporting the market you breathe life into a maker's dream. By purchasing their works you give handmade and locally produced pieces a home.
"I created Love Handmade Markets Redcliffe in February 2013 as a home for our makers to showcase their works and to establish a handmade market for locals and visitors to meet the makers, purchase their works, enjoy a creative atmosphere and to promote our beautiful seaside location. The inaugural Handmade Redcliffe on Saturday 6 July 2013 was a wonderful success opened by the Hon Yvette D'Ath MP and attended by Councillor Koliana Winchester. Thank you to all who attended and for your abundant and positive feedback" Janmaree Lowe, Founder.
As seen in the Redcliffe & Bayside Herald, Tickle the Imagination Magazine, Weekend Notes, The Good Guide, The Weekend Edition, Homemade Sunday Mail and The Courier Mail ~ the first handmade market and makers community has emerged for Redcliffe.
Love Handmade Markets Redcliffe is not just any market ~ each maker is selected via a strict selection process, which takes into consideration the making process, quality, presentation, styling, aesthetics, function, originality of the range, materials used, what we need in the mix and the maker's personal passion for what they do and customer focus! Where product, maker & service meet.
